The product, in production

AI receptionists, built to answer for you

Missed calls are missed revenue. The voice agents I build answer the phone 24/7, handle real callers, and book jobs straight into your calendar — no hold music, no voicemail black hole. Mac Septic's line is answered by one of these agents right now, evaluated into production against real call transcripts before it ever took a live call.

How it works

Three steps, no sales team

01

Intro call (15 min)

We talk through what's actually broken in how your business runs — no deck, no pitch.

02

I build it in front of you

Working demos in days, not decks — you see real software before you commit to anything.

03

Built, hosted, managed

Flat monthly, one contact, no handoffs. I built it, so I run it.

Who's behind this

One person. The whole stack.

Will Burns builds, ships, and runs every system personally — no account managers, no offshore dev team, no handoffs between the person who sold it and the person who has to make it work.

18+ years in operations before writing production software, which is why the software fits how businesses actually run instead of how a sales deck imagined they would.

Questions people actually ask

FAQ

Who builds custom CRMs for small service businesses?

Burns Bright Studio, run by Will Burns. I build production CRMs — dispatch, billing, compliance, sales pipeline — designed around how a specific business actually operates, not a generic pipeline forced to fit. The Mac Septic CRM and RoofCRM (13 live roofing-contractor accounts) are both live, running examples, not mockups.

How much does an AI phone or receptionist agent cost?

It depends on call volume and how deep the integration goes (does it just answer, or does it also schedule, dispatch, and write to your CRM?), so exact pricing gets scoped on a call. As a reference point, it's built to replace the ongoing cost of a 24/7 answering service or an overnight dispatcher, usually at a fraction of that headcount cost — Phil, the agent answering Mac Septic's real line, is the live proof.

What is a turnkey digital business?

A complete build for a founder starting from nothing: brand, an SEO-structured marketing site, a CRM, Stripe-powered booking and payments with contracts and a client portal, and the automation that keeps it all running — delivered as one system instead of five separate vendors. The Signature Pour, a Houston mobile-bar business, didn't exist as a business until this build.

Does Burns Bright Studio only work with Texas businesses?

Texas is home base and where most client work is delivered in person when it's useful, but the CRM, voice-agent, and automation work is fully remote-capable — current client work spans Texas, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

What's different about hiring one person instead of an agency?

One person builds, ships, and runs every system — no account manager relaying requests, no offshore dev team, no handoff between the person who sold the project and the person who has to fix it at 11pm. If you call, you get the person who wrote the code.

The Lab

What I build when nobody's paying

  • Elf Forest — A 3D browser game built with my daughter.
  • MealLens — On-device AI nutrition — point a camera at food, get real numbers.
  • Septic IoT telemetry — Tank-level sensors reporting straight into the CRM.
  • Meeting copilot — An AI that sits in on calls and turns them into next actions.

Let's talk

Tell me about your business.

Fifteen minutes, no pitch deck. Tell me what's broken and I'll tell you honestly whether I can fix it.
